British Gas has cut its electricity prices by 10% - 7th May 2009 12:06pm
I hope I am putting this in the right forum?
British Gas has cut its electricity prices by 10% which is set to take effect TODAY. So if you are with British Gas for your electric, read your meter today, or as soon as you can, so that when you get your bill you can check if you have been charged for those units at the previous higher rate or the new lower rate.
I done this with my gas, when it went down in price and after checking my quaterley bill, found I had been charged for a lot of units at the higher rate. I phoned them, they took my recorded readings which I do monthly anyway, and ended up getting a refund - from BRITISH GAS!
You can also phone them to give them the reading.
