does anybody know if its an offence to lightly colour your headlights? i seen a bike with a yellow/green headlight

alrite nugget!!!! ye i think it is illegal, when i did my scooter basic training the fella said that tinted lights and tinted visors on helmets are illegal.

I think its legal so long as the colour isnt too blue??

Hopefully somneone can clairfy though...

pretty sure its illegal. The light emitted from the fron of a vehicle MUST be white, yet for some reason yellow and HID (purpley green) are legal.

as long as the colour aint changed by tinging ur class then u may be ok. There exist some blue tinted headlights for corsa Bs and escort 6s and i think theyre legal,a tiny bit of smoking wont affect the light either.

Ive always wondered how iridescant headlights would look.

alrite ross mate - i foned u last thursday!

anyways more to the point ... i was finkin of a lite blue, cos i gt a white car an cnt do much else with it and the interiors blue

i will give it a try and see if i get pulled or not lol

Maybe an ICELED gem in each headlight with a controller in the car, you could then choose exactly what colour you wanted when you wanted it, and switch it off too.
