clean lookin car, mudflaps are good on a rally look car but maybe trim them a tad so they dont protrude, whats the spec?? and engine size

I see you've made your way out to Pwllheli already! Not been out there once this year, really need to catch up with everyone. Will be out on the 8th/9th of next month, if you're there we'll catch up.

Car looks smart mate, the 3dr astra's really suit the rally look imo. 40mm Spax kit makes them handle like a rally car too - still absorb enough for the jumps but take out most of the body roll.

carbon 1 im told will loose the poping saound my car makes.Sounds like bollox to me mate,if it pops and spits on ur current exhaust itll still do it no matter what exhaust u fit.As for u pushing golf GTIs round on the lanes, the drivers of said golf are either shite drivers or simply arent ragging the arse of it like u are

I say 16v sport exhaust mate, carbon one will look shite on a rally car!
Save the gsi pipes for a gsi, cherry bomb maybe,
would have to see it on the car to make up my mind.

BTW scoop, not meaning to offend but keep opinions about other peoples driving to yourself.
Jay's been amateur rally driving for a couple of years now
and i'm sure he knows what he's doing on those lanes.

For all those who find it hard to read his typing I apologise
- his fingers are too fat to hit one key at a time tease lol, j/k jay.

Will be good once finished like the route your taking with it.

One comment i will make is. doesnt matter how well you drive at the end of the day its a 1.4 8v. my 106 1.1 had about the same power as that and it was lighter. i think the astra is 65bhp my 106 was 60bhp and i didnt have a hope in hell of keeping up with Gti's going round a roundabout let alone on back lanes. so as said they wherent trying or they where playing with you. I had fun with a golf GTi mk4 in ireland on the back lanes and i couldnt shake him, may cars over 150bhp so if i cant do it I know you cant.
theres no such word as cant but there is such thing as mad!
tryin 2 find thev evidence m8 ive got the gti on my fone vid! u dont have 2 have a fast car 2 keep up with amazing cars just no how 2 drive on that ocasion the owner was obviously a good 12 so of couse hell beat ya lol but....the madjority have these fast cars and dunno how 2 drive them so thats where u excell havin such a low engine car u do try ur hardest 2 see wat u can keep up with and ud be surprised i beat a fast fiat stilo the oyther night round 2 islands i was gone cause he never had the bollox lol

the fact remains no matter how well u can drive a car the limits of the astras standard suspension will make it fall off the road way before a decent car would even consider losing traction, especially a scooby.I have people trying it on with me all the time when im just leisurely driving to work (by leisurly i mean a swift but comfortable speed) and when they get on my back bumper i put the hammer down and go round corners far too fast for them.I dont doubt u'd give some people a run for their money if not beat them if they were in a 1.4 astra too and "trying"

But a "trying" GTI even with a shit driver can corner tighter and faster than a run o the mill astra with a madman behind the wheel

Its all about what the CAR can do,not the driver
chjeers 4 the comments every1 too
