sounds nice you cant go wrong with a DTM the only trouble i have is that you constantly have 2 clean black s### off the back of me car but apart from that its all good!!!!!!!!!!!!

just recently put the K&N back on the car as i had a few teething problems with back pressure but that is all sorted now and is runing great

Well Peeps at the USC i bought a pair of M5 mirrors what do you Guys think? another mod to the golf??

hmmm.....I'm not too keen on the universal m5 mirrors. the only ones that look proper bo' are the genuine ones. The universal ones look different somehow

im not the biggest fan of those mirrors, only seen the odd smooth euro car pull it off.. me self im a fan of the dtm cup mirrors, very nice...

they're a bit "look at me" with them being chrome. another downside is that if the chrome finish is painted on then after a while its liable to flaking off.

only car i've seen pull off chrome mirrors are the Audi S3's+S4's etc to be honest.

I'm sorry, not all to keen on them myself. Would look nicer if they were black I think... <img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions053.gif" />

well i have decided to take the red neons off my car and have decide to have the multiy led's with different colours what are your thoughts peeps

i prefer the fluid neons as opposed to the leds, i think the reflection on the ground can sometimes look a bit bitty and may possibly look on the tacky side but i may be wrong!

use the money to get your rear door handles smoothed off? or get clear rear lights? or put the money towards some alloys? these are the sort of mod's that will make it look a lot more modified than some undercar neons!

i just dont find undercar neons to be much of a great modification personally.

i think that clear rear lights, rear handles smoothed off, or even lowering your car would make much greater difference to a neon kit

we are thinking about getting lexus lights for the back once we had had the mirrors,bumpers put on

i think the lexus lights are ok but everyones got them these days, i only said the clear clusters earlier as i think they'd look sweet with it being a black car, they look good on the golf's to

each to their own though, do what you want an bugger everyone else as long as you(and sally) happy

Well peeps it doesn't look like am getting me sideskirts for the car as they won't fit, which means the car will be staying as it is until i can find so that will fit and not look daft
Oh well looks like the bumpers are on hold as well till i get the skirts, i was also told that i had to change the arches to the car as well

I like the big bumper conversion for the golf, gives it loads more beef to it.

Nearly bought one myself, but the AX cropped up and was slightly cheaper.

They say that i have to renew the arches on my car to fit the gti skirt and also have to renew the door plastic's as well
and to renew all that will cost me £380.00
but i may have somethink in the pipe line with a mate

nice, i'm into old schools golfs! wanna mk1 gti!!! you should get kerr to spray your rear lights black. he did mine for £50 and theyre pretty big. its a cheaper way of getting the smoked look and often looks better sprayed because ther actually dark black. would give your car that sorta like Darth Vader stealth look from the back! nice motor neway mate, get sum rims! old school golf ones from a scrappy prob wudnt cost much, refurb them and bobs ya uncle!

we will be putting rims on the beast next year and were also fitting lexus lights matey sally isn't to keen on the rear lights being tinted thats why were going for the lexus style lights

next year i am hoping fot get this:

no i haven't mark what i did was i took the speedo clock out of my old one and replaced it it the new one with the rev limiter so it tallys up with my mot papers now and its all legal
the clock with the rev counter is my legal milage of the car when i bought the car in 2004 there was only 106000 on the clock

looking good, only thing i would do is get a badgless grill, the one that get rid of two lights, and some 17s

17" are to big and they would involve me having to widen my arches which i don't want to do the biggest i'm going to is 16" but thats all to come later as at the moment i am refurbing my old steelies myself to go back on the car for a while whislt i sort my alloys out i'll be putting some pictures up as i go along with the refurb ie before and after pic's

what about some ronnel turbo alloys 9x15 with 19545 would look sooooo nice

well i have gone through 6 sets of rear bearing since january since i lowered it so it must be somethink to do with that so i have raised it back to standard as i'm gonna be putting 18" alloys on in in the next few months so it will look low then lol
i have also put the small bumpers back on the car as well because i'm haveing the big bumpers fixed and resprayed

This car is bubbling with potential. Im just waiting for it to turn into a proper smart veedub. Set of 17s or 18s,slamming and some skirtage and it'll be well smart on the outside

they need repainting as the last paint job has started flakin off and it looks a right mess so time for a refurb
not sure if the bearings will last but the 18" alloys are only for show use only i'm gettin a set of 16" for everyday use to
