I really really wanna drive this car but just cant afford to fix it just yet. Ive moved it today as i got it trapped away from the car park the other day when i test drove it and it got HOT as fook. So moved it back today (tried to push it but it wasnt going anywhere)

Hopefully it'll get thru an MOT with under a ton spent (and im hoping that INCLUDES the MOT lol)

Need a haynes manual pronto (and my own tools would be an idea)

Doing this car has given me the idea to make a living (side earner) of buying cars to fix and sell, just last week i was offered a 98 escort 5 door for 25 quid and all it needs is a replacement door (paint and fit, cost 100 quid tops) and then i coulda sold it for 6-700,shame i dont have 350 to spare, one day,one day that'll be my life

having compression tested the engine last month and it failed with a cracked head, its sat and done nothing for a month, a mate of mine pulled me up yesterday and asked me if i wanted to sell my 5 series and buy his, what he meant by that is he's just bought one that needs a few bits doing to it (window motor, window seal) and he wants my car for spares, then,in march when he gets his new car he'll sell me HIS E34 in full working order. So ive decided he can take any bits he needs from the grey one,and ill buy his car in march, all the while keeping the grey one for spares, ill have 10 wheels! i cud go drifting in it for fun (altho 2.0 aint gonna do much)

His is a maroon L reg 520i SE AUTO and its god damn clean, got an alarm, which mine hasntfront arm rests (which mine hasnt), RCL (lock only for some reason)
Clear indicators front and side
working cassette player (which wont last long anyway when i get it)

Cant wait til march, drove it last night and its such a nice drive, wierd to calmly accelerate in being an auto but the quietness and the bigness of the interior is just heaven
