Cleveland tyres are really, really helpful. They spent about 2 hours trying to fit tyres to my car, and when they found out one of the alloys was corroded they cut them down for nothing.
I've been going there for three years, they're really good.

30 profile tyres are always going to be tricky to fit, especially on a 20" rim.

Tweeks may be the only place with a machine big enough think

For more regular sizes I always go to Gary at St James Tyres - next to th petrol station by he church smile

He told me he dosent fit tyres you have bought for insurance purposes.

Try the the place near Candy in Brom, go past the BP garage on the A41 turn left and they are on the left hand side.

Ian Hosie Tyres

Birkenhead

Great "Snap On" machines which work great.

I went to Widnes, They have a US machine, which holds to wheel from the centre.

No part of the machine goes near the outer rim. All automatic.

Cost me £30 for the 2 tyres
