We know supermarkets adopt various sales techniques and product placements etc. CoOp in Newton have a display stand by door on way in 6 Deep Filled Mince Pies £1--but what you dont spot is that on the same display stand mixed in with the deep mince pies in identical coloured packaging are mini mince pies.costing £2. I realised as i only had 2 items at checkout but loads of people buying a basketful of stuff would have been stung. I told the cashier but she didnt seem that concerned about removing the dearer product. Done deliberately to reduce stock--who knows?
