I've just spotted three specialist ambulances coming out of the tunnel with blues and twos on and going up Gorsey Lane. There was a car, a 4x4 and a van, they were going too fast to read the names but it was obvious they weren't normal ambulance's. I spotted the car and land rover by the college on Gorsey Lane, and then the van coming out of the tunnel. Anyone know what it's about?

sure it wasn't the tunnel police & a paramedic?
if an ambulance needs to go from liverpool to birkenhead/wallasey it gets a police escort through the tunnel and an open barrier so it can just go straight through, they usually also accompany it to the hospital, that may have been what you just saw

the car would be an RRV, or senior officer, the 4 x 4 probably the hart team (hazardous aid response team), and the van probably public support unit.
