Hi looking at buying a house which needs new kitchen average size about 10 units and a bathroom with bath toilet and sink. With also painting which we will hopefully do ourselves and carpets for 4 bedrooms. No idea how much this is gonna cost but on a budget of about 7,000 will this be enough do you think? Any help appreciated. Medium sized 3 bedroom semi detached house

You can do a kitchen and a bathroom for this, if you are replacing not re-arranging. budget £160 - £200 for carpets in each bedroom room. Buy good quality paints. Get bargains of the internet and you can save a packet.
I started renovating my house 2.5 years ago, I have spent 4 times this amount and I am about half way through!
Some good trades on here, who have helped with my house.
Good luck
K

Try wallsandfloors.co.uk for tiles - about a quarter the price of homebase!
Wibble!
