don't know if anyone's posted the link before but just found this on google http://www.historyofwallasey.co.uk/wallasey/New_Brighton_Picture_Index/index.htmlafter wanting to show my girlfriend who only moved to the area 3 years ago what used to be around, mainly what the old floral pavillion looked like and what was once on the hideous building site on victoria road next to the train station, nice building was the old victoria hotel. but there's other pictures on there from before my time (born in '89) such as the old tower grounds and the pier would have been nice to have seen them.

OMG jawide....that's brilliant....Thank You so much for putting this link up, there are loads of pictures I haven't seen before I was brought up in New Brighton in the 60's so this is great to look back on .... brought back some lovely memories !! x
