from skynews.... report tonight from 7.30pm Scientists have said that the universe could end with a standstill rather than a bang, with time simply just stopping.
The theory has been advanced as a way of explaining why distant, ancient stars appear to be accelerating.
They say that billions of years into the future, time will cease to be time and everything will stop.
