How can I get rid of the F1 start up,when I boot my Comp' it says press F1 to boot,never had this prob,before any ideas.

Go into the BIOS (f8 on startup or del). Disable the option to halt on error. Make the hard drive the 1st boot device. If you don't have a floppy, I would disable it.

Check the time on your computer, if it's wrong then it's likely that your CMOS battery is/going flat.
Simple to fix and battery is only a pound.
