I was wondering if anyone on Wiki was a member of the Church Lad's Brigade. I joined in 1969 when I was at Hillside School. We used to have monthly church parades and would march from the church hall in Oxton to St Saviour's.
I gave it up when I went to 'big' school in 1972 , but have many fond memories of cricket matches and drill competitions (also playing murderball , though In doubt that was in line with any part of the Brigade constitution !).
