The new built-in DSP with a Burr Brown 1-bit DAC with 24-bit resolution, Auto Time Alignment, and an Auto EQ lets the user have full and easy control over sound characteristics and sound field to turn their car into an ideal sound room. Playback options include CD-R / CD-RW, MP3, WMA and WAV. A very handy feature is Folder & File List Search for fast and easy access to song files. Longer titles - up to 64 characters - zoom across the display via Auto Scroll Text.

Other catchy extras include OEL customisation using Pioneer’s OEL Screensaver Studio and 3 Hi-Volt pre-outs for personalised amplifier and speaker configuration. The standard 10-key remote really makes a final style statement.
