Not too sure about it being the fault of the West or anyone else.

It's civil war between President Bashar al-Assad's government and rebel forces, who want him out.

2000 yrs of history, gone in most of it.

Recent times is the civil war Rude, started 4 years ago. President of Syria asked Russia to go in and help, as did rest of them after IS had got a stronghold.

The human race love klling things....anyone&animals

True enlightenment as a destrucive species wont come till we just get on....

True Sven. We all thought great thing would happen after John Lennon released 'Imagine'. we thought all things would be resolved when Russia reduced it's nuclear arsenal. Pipe dreams ! we will never 'get on' for long enough to make a difference.
You can please some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but not all of the people all of the time.

So true.

However, I would like to know who advises these political heads of States.

Tony Blair, destroys Iraq, because of the possibility of WMD and accusing Saddam Hussein of killing his own, even though the invasion destroyed many more lives, but Blair was great pals with Gadaffi.

Cameron , involved in getting rid of Gaddafi and blasting Libya, for what reason ? I forget. Was it something to do with threats to kill his own people ?
Well, that's reversed rolls now, the people are killing the people instead and the corrupt and criminals have obviously taken control.
Cameron has never really uttered a word about that attack on Libya, since. Why was it necessary ?

Who is at the helm. Both actions and resulting dreadful atrocities have caused untold upheaval for Europe and the world and I can't believe that this was not called for by a higher level in world affairs to de-stabilize nations.. just can't think who or what would be so stupid and not foresee the pitfalls, and no plan to follow.

In these instances Rude is correct, but there has to be someone else at the root. A new Prime Minister like Cameron, is not going to make such rash decisions without huge pressure, when he had only just taken office .

War and conflict is a big business it makes the world go round, governments and arms dealers are one and the same, take for example the Falklands conflict, France, Israel, selling armaments to Argentina, yet they all sleep in the same bed when it suits.

What difference does it make to the dead, the orphans and the homeless, whether the mad destruction is wrought under the name of totalitarianism or in the holy name of liberty or democracy.

Mahatma Gandhi.

yet there are still a lot of people who don't believe in the illuminati, and think our world leaders are looking after us, l suppose it's better to bury our heads in the sand, even though we have a fair idea as to what these deviant's are up to
