i'm not sure if you posted about this here last year.
the lad got banned from keeping pets for 10 years fined £2000 basically a slap on the wrist and he doesn't know where the dog is. yeah right. they should beat it out of him the low life ... bag

Having watched the CCTV I dont beleive the owner actually encourages the attack. He appears to have difficulty dragging such a powerful dog off the Guide dog, and resorts to hitting his dog to try and stop it attacking the other dog.

True, a lot of it may be up to the dogs upbringing, but that appears to be a prime case for the bull terrier to be destroyed as its obviously and aggessive dog.

The owner isnt totally innocent - he should have had hold of the lead, and had the dog muzzled, but I dont think it is a "sport" attack like some you hear of

I think the punishment was reasonable - had he encouraged the attack, then that would be a different kettle of fish

He knew how his dog would react and yet it was not on a lead. I know he tried his best to get the dog off but prevention would of been the best thing in this case not cure.

I feel sorry for the blind woman, she would not know what was happening and would only hear the screams of her loving work dog.

My auntie had her dog savaged whilst walking in a park, unfortunately the dog died there and then and she had to take her home. She was so upset as she cant have children and the dog was like her substitute. we all know how it feels to loose a close pet, it feels the same as loosing someone in the family.
