Serving soldiers’ wives organise ball for Help for Heroes charity in Wirral

TWO serving Merseyside soldiers’ wives are organising a Help for Heroes ball to raise funds for injured troops.

Teri Edwards and Michelle Wild have vowed to support the men and women injured, physically or emotionally in the line of duty.

The pair are aiming to raise £20,000 by throwing a charity auction and dinner at the prestigious Hillbark Hotel, Royden Park, Wirral, on March 12.

Tickets cost £45 each or £450 for a table of 10. The event is black tie and will include dinner, live entertainment, the £10 envelope game and the auction.

Entertainment on the night will include the Batala Liverpool Samba Band playing on arrival, Steven Fletcher and the Toni James Band, and special guest dancers.
