BIRKENHEAD’S closure-threatened Royal British Legion is holding a public meeting on Tuesday, December 16.
The UK’s first Royal British Legion, the branch was opened in 1921 by Sir Frederick Lister.
It is now seeking new members to ensure the future of the Royal British Legion in Birkenhead.
The meeting is open to anyone who would like to find out how to support the work of the branch in supporting servicemen and women, past and present.
The meeting starts at 7.30pm in the Royal Naval Association Club, Park Road East, Birkenhead.
