i like different, is it just the one sub you are after or you want 2. If they 15 inch there aint much room for playing about. May i also point your attention that 15inch subs dont tend to keep up with faster beat tempo's. Dont worry we can sort you out

2 15 i am goin 4. i know that the 15's r designed to hold bass lines, an i am goin to be listining to drum & bass mainly or hip hop. but yea i just want some thin that will look difrent

What is the best thickness MDF to build your install out of, especially for 12" subs......

anything thicker than 12mm, all the pre made boxes you can buy are 12mm. Dont forget to completely seal the box and make sure the box is made as closely to the manufactures recommendations for the subwoofers.
