A dog walker was forced to swim to shore after getting caught in the incoming tide off the New Brighton coast. The man was cut off near North Bank and, while attempting to lift his dog from the knee deep water, dropped his mobile phone. But he was heard calling for help and coastguard teams were alerted, with crews providing first aid while the man waited for an ambulance. Wirral Coastguard Rescue Team and New Brighton RNLI responded to the call for help at around 6.30pm on Monday. Click Me

Very fortunate.....considering it was also dark !
Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect. ~Chief Seattle
