When I see a thug with a list of previous up in court getting put back on the street until next time, I see the police as job done several times over. The system lets us down with a vengeance, handing out justice with a smile. If this was a game of pin the tail on the donkey it would never end.

Early hours of Sunday 20th Sept a single male threw a full petrol can as a mo!otov cocktail onto my daughters car. This car was parked on our drive in front of our house and next to a gas meter! The car was engulfed in flames the fire being ferocious enough to implode the windscreen and to crack double glazed Windows! Had our dog not alerted us to the imminent danger my two teens and their friend along with myself and a visiting friend would have perished. The charge if anyone is brought to boot will be arson with intent to endanger life! Please please ensure you have security lights and if possible CCTV cameras on your property we would not be in this situation had we found time and installed the camera we had bought! This time no one apart from the dog was hurt...next time ...well it doesn't bare thinking about! Stay safe folks.BTW this happened in the Noctorum area!.

I doubt security cameras would have stopped the incident. It would have been recorded, but not stopped it. I really thought this would have been reported somewhere, such as Wirral Globe, but no, not a sign. How very strange, as you would think such a dreadful incident as this, would be released by the police as an awareness exercise.
There again, we can't believe all we read in the papers, can we ??

It's not been in any local papers not been reported and to be honest I'm happy it hasn't we have enough "tourists" coming to take a peek at the aftermath..
There are a number of possibilities as to why, none of which without CCTV to paint the picture can be anything other than conjecture.. There has been no further incidents. This leads one to wonder...we may never know and that means we live in fear of the possibility of another attack!
We are not drug takers/dealers. We do not owe money, the kids work hard two ex Army one nurse one fitter one graduate one in uni and youngest in college. Quiet boring unassuming family no problems before then this...
The CCTV although not a prevention in itself it does afford corroboratory evidence which until you find yourself in this situation ( I Sincerely hope you never are) you'd never think you would need it!
It should also be noted that during Sunday 20th there were I believe 7 arson incidents between Wirral and Liverpool in a 24 hour period..
I assure you this did happen I have the debris on my drive and tar like substances on my doorstep which is murder to get off!
Suzie.
