My 11yrs old son had his bike taken from him today by a 17yr old wearing a blue hoody carrying a JD sports bag. The bike was taken from him behind Bebington Oval stadium.
The bike was this years chistmas present and my son is very upset. The bike make is a Giant ATX colour is black. if any one gets offered this bike or knows the person who has please get in touch.
This idiot who took the bike was last seen riding up the cinder path towards Townlane.
just an estimate on the age. My son started school at Plessington only just last week. He planned to cycle to school. He's pretty shaken. Im so angry at these idiots what is up with them ?
It really does make you feel like taking the law into your own hands, if he ever gets caught very little will happen, the only thing they understand is street justice, I hate saying that but I get annoyed at the gangs of little scrotes swaggering round who basically laugh at you and the police, untouchable.

I have to agree, which is why i never leave my bike out of sight and if i do then i use a rather expensive lock on it to make sure it goes nowhere.
I do also feel though that they act untouchable when in a gang, get one of them on their own and they basically cry home to mummy if you as much as look at them aggressively.
Something's got to be done, hearing of this on a daily basis, pushbikes & motorbikes getting stolen practically every day & it doesn't seem to matter to them how well chained up they are, they come prepared with bolt cutters. These scumbags think they are above the law,it's about time they were dealt with by street law.

My Son won't be playing out tomorrow ! However in time, hopefully next weekend he will playout with his friends again but probably without his bike. I really hope the thugs who stole his bike get their just deserves .
sorry granny.. been watching too many Billy Connolly clips on youtube..
sometimes not enough polite words in the English language to adequately describe and express our anger at the actions of some people.
I would normally temper my language by a look back in life at the folly of ones own misspent youth and realise at times that most of us have been pillocks

Thanks again for your support.
Maybe go check out if there are any CCTV near where he got his bike taken from him.It would be worth a try. If you got a picture of your sons bike ,you could put a photo of it on here that would be helpfull.
CCTV at the Oval was broken. Here is a picture of the Bike. It's a Giant ATX XS frame Colour Black and BLue the front forks have recently been replaced they are white in colour. I'm willing to pay a good reward for the Bike being returned !
was at clatterbridge hospital this evening and noticed a bike against a sign.wasnt sure if it was chained--looked like it had a blue plastic coated security chain. Seemed to be in an odd place to chain a bike or to leave one Just on left opposite new staff car park nine. Into clatterbridge and straight on at the mini roundabout.
