Any gardeners who want to take this customer from me (£15 to £20 --once a month). Too much dog crap on the grass. Strimming above the turd line is better than mowing as you don't have to clean the mower of excrement. Raking the grass up an depositing in wheelie bin is a bit tricky. Wellies a necessity.

Free fertilizer as a bonus - some people just don't know when they are spoilt grin .

Free muck spreading as well--Plus the dog will walk all over it and take it back into the guys house.
It was ok at first as the owner (an OAP) just let it crap on an enclosed driveway which at least gave me a fighting chance to dodge it.

I see you moaning but if you read the original post, there is no moaning, all a statement of fact surely? Perhaps you read it differently?

Why don't you just ask the owner to kindly pick up the dog me before you mow the grass, that seems the way forward

i get paid for cutting the grass not getting everything covered in poo. Maybe those who whinge on here for not having a job would like to do this customer. Plenty of garden work out there .. Having to turn down work hence my trying to offload less desirable jobs. The old guy who lives there not able to pick the poo up.any way job done today gagging all the way. 8,8

If the bloke can't bend to pick it up, but can still grip, there are long-handled poop scoops available quite cheaply - maybe he would be able to use one of those to clear the mess and make life more pleasant for him and his dog, and for whoever cuts the grass. It must be really rank as it is.

Hey Fish, I believe it's easier to clean bare feet.

Get yourself some face masks and some little rubber gloves. At the moment McColls carrier bags are best, as they don't have holes in the bottom.

If the neighbours get suspicious , just explain 'I'm the gardener' .

Good luck.

DJDuck, your comments are well out of order on this one! If you are a teacher, then you have a serious problem assuming far too much.
