Just found this on Twitter/Facebook.....
The mum of a terminally ill little boy has appealed to strangers to give him a birthday he will never forget by sending him a card.

William Magee's mum's Kelly is appealing for anyone moved by his story to send cards to wish him a happy day.
Cards can be sent to :

Bubbles' World of Play, Marine Point, Kings Parade, New Brighton CH45 2HZ. Xx

hi Sneezy. Hope all is well in the woods.

I think this is a lovely idea. Can you please, please remind us a little nearer the time, because it will get swamped and forgotten about on here, in the next week or two ?

This story has touched me and my family alot ,rudebox and i were at the fundraising event at Hollinshey in NB, last year when the was a 'talk ' about wirral in the olden days....
We will be sending cards ... and a 'thinking ' of you message for the parents and family ......
Snowy i dont think the date matters ... just do it ...The postman will have a 'bad back' if they all arrive to-gether ....lol

Why would people need reminding if they genuinely cared.

From Bubbles today...........

We've easily got over 12,500 posted and dropped off to Bubbles. Wirral Radio, Heart FM, Wirral Globe have also been collecting and there are over 100 drop off points around the NW which will probably have a lot.

I took my card up to Bubbles today and met THE William in the car park. So he opened my card there and then. He really is a lovely little boy. His mum said he was already overwhelmed and that was only 11a.m.
I`ve no idea how he would have gotten through the day as I heard on Heart radio that they`d had to rent another two vans for all the cards as the two double decker buses were full!!
The Heart DJ`s Joel and Lorna kept talking about a huge surprise so I think maybe they`ve got a trip to Disneyland,
We should know more tomorrow.
