Even though i have sold my AX, and will probably never drive another one again, i will always have a soft spot for the little underrated hot-hatches.

I know they are ugly cars but, is it just me or is this a very sexy AX?

Fast as fook, apparently 0-60 in 6ish seconds.

Weight saving, this is a 550kg car, probs less than half yours and mine.

I am sure if he wanted a nice inside he would of bought a Lexus.

Personally i like the rally look, this car and about 30 odd AX's will be at Demon Tweeks meet on the 30th of october. I am going to take a trip there, will be funny i think.

weight saving doesnt mean the dash has to look ugly. could have made an effort to put some effort into making it look better, like he has with the outside. im sure if he was that bothered about saving weight he'd of used lighter rims and not bothered with heavy body modifications.

Apparently he is going to be modifying the rear end.

Maybe insides are next on the list.

For an AX it looks realy well done particularly the outside, I too like rally interiors but also a bit of comfort and safety!

Stickin with sporty, but the rear end does need work to match up with the rest of the car

i too have a soft spot for ax's, the poor little cars just dont suit the twin headlights,
once the back is sorted that will be enough for me.
oh and lots of cow skin inside for me personally, and a bit of comfort.

These little cars fly for wot they are

Thos AX's are horrid little things, but that looks really nice. The front looks amazing, that's the first frontal I've seen that looks better than the original.
Will the 1.9 GTi engine fit in an AX, is that why he went for the 1.6 I wonder?

Weight saving: A dashboard weighs about a third the weight of a person. The difference in the handling will be very noticable.

The front looks really nice, hes done well to get it looking like that... but the back still looks absolutely disgusting, needs a light conversion!!!
