Hi The App store has stopped working on my Android phone any ideas I have tried most things apart from factory reset ! everything else is working fine !

works fine for me... i'm running a samsung galaxy S5 on EE with android 5.0
maybe go to settings and see if you can upgrade your android. may or may not fix it.
or go on the app in settings, disable it then reenable it.

It's working fine for me too on a Galaxy Alpha.
Here’s how to check your Download Manager settings. 1.Open your device’s main Settings menu. 2.Under “Device”, touch Apps or Application manager (depending on your device, this may be different). 3.Swipe to view “All” apps. 4.Select the Download Manager app. ?If you see an Enable option, Download Manager is turned off. Touch Enable to turn it on. ?If you see a Disable option, Download Manager is turned on. Keep Download Manager turned on to download apps.
