Her grandmother gave it to her as she didn't wear it any longer.

the ring is in the original box and features a rather large opal surrounded by a Victorian-cut diamonds either side. There's also a swirly pattern built into the 18 carat gold around the gems making this a perfect engagement or special occasion ring, particularly for those who love a vintage style. It's in great condition, but might need a little bit of a clean to make it really sparkle but otherwise it's perfect. we're not sure what size it is, so it might need to be resized to fit.

Its estimated value is £1700, from Stephen Jones Jewellers in Liverpool & comes with insurance/valuation certificate.
