Merseyside will fall silent on Sunday, November 9 to mark Remembrance Sunday.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the outbreak of World War I in 1914 a catastrophic event in which hundreds of thousands of people from Merseyside and the surrounding boroughs lost their lives, along with millions around the world.

Below, you can find services in Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, Wirral, Halton and West Lancs.
