We all know that insurance is that thorn in the side for petrolheads and maxers alike, but what does every1 on here do about it? does anyone actually declare their mods? If so what insurance companies are ok about them? I mean people like Paz hav got seriously moddded motors, is it all cocher and insured etc? Just thought i'd see what everyone does bout insurance etc, i know mine is a killer and its only a 1.6 16v "standard"!

wow thats good tony. did it go up much when you declared them? i think personally that its a problem like beind under 21 cos your jus blackmarked straight away! daz i didnt mean it in a sort of 'Everyone tell us whether your insured properly' but more just like tony said and what mods are declared and whether they cost you much more.

I have declared my alloy wheels, the insurance company said they would insure me on any wheels regardless of the value aslong as they arn't more than 1 inch bigger than standard.
I am paying £750 fully comp on a slightly modified civic coupe grp 13.
I declared everything with the AX, didnt affect my premium at all. £300 fully comp.
