Gutted that on Friday, apparently I missed a very unusual local weather event. Several pictures of it taken in different areas, but mainly New Brighton arrived on my FB today . Something called a Microburst . It was over the water so I presume didnt do any damage. Amazing sight . Did anyone on here get any pictures of it ? I havent missed reading a relevant post have I?https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=microburst+weather+pictures

Stunning - and very scary looking! Could be pretty devastating by the look of some of the pictures Google throws up.

Incredible picture. Isn't it called a 'Tunnel'or 'Funnel' something or other ? The news said it was not a tornado. There was one in Hull yesterday too, maybe the same one ! Caused quite a lot of damage. Seems a bit like what they report getting in the Bermuda Triangle.

Some of my daughters friends saw it from Harrison Park and took a pic with St Nics church in the foreground. I would say a better pic than that one linked. I will see if i can get a copy.

Im gutted I didnt see it. I was driving back from the cinema at the time so I either just missed it or didn't notice it. My Facebook was full of pictures of it from every angle when I got home.
