There certainly used to be one in Oxton Rd., corner of Barton St. but I would have thought you would do better on Amazon and e-bay.

Wallasey. The Book exchange on Liscard road & the Book Minder on Albion street. There used to be one on Mill lane as we'll but not sure if still there.

This one in Heswall. He moved to Pensby Road, and I haven't been in since, but his shop used to be a great place to view shelf after shelf of books.

Humankind has not woven the web of life. We are but one thread within it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves. All things are bound together. All things connect.

Go and see TugboatCath at the bookshop opposite New Brighton Railway Station, she is very helpful and will try and get books she hasn't got in for you, you may see her and her gang dressed up as Pirates soon.

They have published loads of books of local interest. I think they may have a shop on the Argyle Trading Estate.
Also, Ian Boumphrey has published many Wirral books.

They may not be secondhand bookshops but at least they have loads of useful stuff.
You could also search for Ian Boumphrey on Amazon; usually some of his books there secondhand.

Second hand Bookshop near the Catherdral in Liverpool has a brilliant local section. Got a few on Wirral and Birkenhead there myself.

Reid of Liverpool, Mount Pleasant. The local books face his sales desk.

Other good shops include Cheshire Books at Lady Hayes and another second hand bookshop on London Road Liverpool - Henry Bohn Books (round the corner from the Empire theatre). Lots of Wales and railways books there, and loads of cheap OS maps upstairs.
