I go to the different shows as there is usually various dealers selling picture post cards and I have a quick look, today I will be at the steam rally just outside Warrington so I will check there, when I was a kid I remember a scrappy I think in Lorn st, being a kid they were magnets and health and safety wasn't even a twinkle in an unborn uncivil servants eye,I found half a dozen cannon shells, they were still scrapping WWII aircraft and my mum went mad and frog marched me down to the police station, where the police sergeant took them quickly away then gave me a dressing down about live ammunition, he said nothing about playing in scrap yards so we did but we were careful as we did find some 303s bullets and well it was in the days when you could visit the childrens section of the Library and find book on how to make let's say big bangs.
