budget will b about £5000, but i want a 1.4 or 1.6 so my insurence dosnt go through the roof, was lookin at a saxo vtr

for 5K you cud pick up a sub-10 year old BMW 318. My m8 bought one of them at 18 and only cost him 900 a year FC insurance

but the bmw is missing something, oh yeah 2 cylinders.
saxo's are a hoot and easy to mod and for that sort of money you can get a pretty new one with low milage, also look into the furio special edtion saxo's, vtr kit on them, but a 1.4 engine. still nippy cos of the light weight body

get a 106 gti mate, ill take you out in mine and you WILL want one. high insurnace yes but get a minter for 4.5 and put the extra 500 towards insurance and its definately worth it
