Looking in to getting either a Lexus IS 200 or a Peugeot 206 GTI. Just wondering what sort of performance they both have?

The Lexus is gutless, 140BHP from a 2litre with a 0-60 in about 10secs.

Very lovely looking car, very classy, shame they don't have around 18BHP frown

Lexus IS200
1988cc 24valve 6 cylinder engine
0-60 in 9.2
153 bhp
144 lb/ft torque
134 mph top whack

Pug 206 GTI
1997 16V 4 cylinder
0-60 in 8.0 (GTI180 is 7.5)
138BHP (GTI180 is 180BHP)
143 lb/ft torque (GTI180 has 152lb/ft)
130 mph top whack (GTI 180 is 137)
GTI is only available as 3 door

Out of these cars i'd choose.........the lexus, but i would have somethin else alltogether over both of these, just not quick enough, and the 206 aint practical,if performace aint a huge intrest of urs go lexus,if it is,get an IS but get the 300

both poop, i wouldnt have either, but then again thats just me. go for a focus sport or astra sport hatch.

Maybe even a C2 VTR. Try an audi S3 1.8T, or all out and a get an S3 2.3 quattro

ideas of your budget and ur preferences would be a good start? are there any makes u prefer or dislike.any preference on engine, petrol, turbo petrol, turbo diesel?give us some suggestions and we'll do the same.

I could say Ford Ka wit RST engine in,u may think thats too small,i could say Jag XJ,and that could be too big,"throw me a freekin bone here"
