Still hasn't sunk in, my F1 hero, young enough to remember Senna,Prost,Berger and Mansell but Schumi was my real hero. The one who made me want the next race on bbc in me bedroom with a dodgy Ariel shouting when little brother opened door and blocked signal.

Really hope he pulls through and with him being so actively fit he has a better than average chance.

Footage from Michael Schumacher's helmet camera shows him going at the speed of "a very good skier" when he hit a rock and fell, investigators say.

Investigators probing the former F1 driver's accident said he was eight metres off-piste when he crashed.

The reports are not very positive now as hope could be fading even though the family say he is a fighter.

Positive News:

French doctors work to bring Schumacher out of coma

Quote:
Doctors treating injured Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher are reducing his sedation to prepare to bring him out of a coma, his manager says.

This step will allow the "waking up process" to start, Sabine Kehm said in a statement.

Its hard to believe that the Michael we all knew is probably gone. But I for one hope and pray for any miracle for anyone in this situation.

So many Unknowns.
