shop owner called fire brigade who attended.. it appears that the growers had bypassed the fuses and rain water sparked a fire ...
crime scene been there all day and shop taped off ,

above the off license it was , the shop renter had no idea as the flat was rented to 3 young lads , and to top it all off , because the fire brigade and police wouldnt let the fuses be put back in (hense no cctv or alarms activated ) some low lifes broke in through the roof and emptied the place on wednesday night ...

Heard earlier that the gang that broke into the shop steeling Ciggies etc had been caught,
They were stopped by the tunnel entrance by Lairds on there way home ...
That night 3 newsagents were broken into on the Wirral along with 2 in New ferry the week before
