Is this duck the same as the one used in Liverpool? (maybe the one that sunk)

Seems like it could be Wacker Quacker 2,3 or 4, just modified

Looks like Tommy Mann's duck was a 6 wheeler (drive).The other is only a 4 wheeler. there were lots of amphibious vehicles left over from WW2,from different makers for different tasks.I'd say it wasn't his.

I missed that when looking at there site, DOH!

Tommy Mann was my father and he never had any connection with the Dukws in New Brighton.
His business was the miniature railway and children's amusements on the Tower Grounds. He also leased the Marine Lake, with boat building in Virginia Road. Latterly the opening of Fort Perch Rock after the purchase from the Crown.
I hope that this answers the questions on the Dukw.

As a new member, thanks for your welcome.
These photos of 'Tommy Mann New Brighton Dukw' have been circulating for some years now. I have requested that a correction is made over the years but they have not done so.
