Hi, I have a 2002 mk4 golf which I have retrofitted (OE) electric windows and electric mirrors and installed new CANBUS wiring. I need the CCM reconfigured with VCDS (hex - can) or VAG COM. WINDOWS WORK OFF THE DOOR KEY so no issues with the CAN BUS communications.
Anyone out there got the Ross Tech software? or Vagcom? I live in Upton, Wirral.
cheers

Just an update, I was able to resynchronise the window motors and the mirror without reprogramming the CCM (Comfort Control Module) everything is up and running. So don't need VAG-COM or HEX-CAN. Might invest in the Ross - Tech software as it seems to be a pretty good system.
Many forums say this retrofit is very difficult, I would not agree. It is time consuming but if you understand the basics of CanBus you won't find it a problem. should anyone wish to retrofit electric windows and mirrors via the CanBus system on a Golf mk4 let me know and I will give you some pointers.
