Friends of Wallasey Central Library will be holding another Japan Day on Saturday 12th October from 10am to 4pm [the library will be closed 1pm to 2pm].
There will be lots to do for all ages. Activities and attractions include:

# Samurai armour
# Liverpool Kendo Club
# Manga drawing classes
# Origami workshops
# Blue Funnel Line display
# Japanese language classes [£3 per person; includes free Japanese tea or coffee. Tickets on sale now]
# Japanese food stand
# Traditional Japanese music [shamisen, harp and singing]
# Talks [Wirral lady's experience of living and working in Japan]
# Face painting for children
# Poetry reading
# Kimono dressing
# Storytelling
# Book sale
# Raffle [win a signed Everton shirt]

All proceeds will go back into improving the library.
