I am trying to name some of the roads on the 1831 map Possibly 1 Corporation Road 2 Cleveland Street 3 Bridge Street 4 Argyle Street 5 Price Street? 6 & 10 Chester Street eventually becoming Old Chester Road further on and later 7 Church Street 8 Claughton Road 9 Grange Lane/ Grange Road / Grange Road West 11 Whetstone Lane 12 Oxton Road / Woodchurch Road 14 Church Road

I think you have named them in the same way as I would have done.

or is 8 Olivers Street at the east end.
10 = Old Chester Road ? 12 = Woodchurch Road
Think Borough Road not yet buily west of Whetstone Lane - as it followed directly the line of the brook seen on the map
Very Interesting - is this from before the days of scale maps ?
