I have a electrical fault on my car with the abs it is showing high voltage on the circuit I've had the sensor checked and it is fine. I need to fix the fault so I can get a MOT and the two garages I have just phoned want big money to sort the fault out replacing bits I know I dont need and one garage has told me I need a abs specialist who charges £50 per hour and they want it for the day. If anyone could recommend someone who is honest and reliable and can do the job asap thanks.

chances are it's either broken wire or needs the sensor/ring replacing, comes complete with bearing.
either way shouldn't take long to diagnose it.

What make and model car is it? Peugeots frequently get ABS sensor errors due to a build up of grime behind the mounting point of the sensor, pushing it away from the magnetic ring. Or issues down to the poor position of the ABS unit under the front wheel arch.
If it is a Pug I'll happily show you what needs to be done, FOC.
Mike Hurst gets a lot of praise on here but I've found they're not interested in tricky jobs, just the simple "bread and butter" type of work.
