Hi all, I'm currently researching my Wilson family history who all came from Birkenhead in the 1800's. My great, great great grandfather lived, and latterly ran, a lodging house at 40 George Street. Other family members also appear to have lived/ lodged there as well. As there is such a strong connection I am looking for any photos of George Street before it was all demolished for the modern units that are there now. Can anybody help? Many thanks..

Hi, My family were there for a while circa 1880s - if you find any maps or pics or anything I would be grateful if I could have a copy. Many thanks.

Hi, The only map I have is an Alan Godrey Edition - http://www.alangodfreymaps.co.uk/ch1303.htmThey are only £2.50 each and I've found quite a few family addresses on it. Hopefully someone will know of a photo of George St.
