just heard there's been an armed robbery at the co op on Laird street.dont know anything else, thank goodness my grandaughter doesn't work there any more.

no this one happened tonight at the Laird street one definitely

I live righ next to the Co-op on Laird Street and there was an ambulance and a few police cars there coz it got robbed. There have been a few shops in Wallasey and Rock Ferry that have been robbed this week.

Yes i can confirm that i was there and yes it was a robbery. I was slapped around and threatened. There was around 5 lads maybe six not sure. I am a little shaken by the whole thing but i am not giving in although i have been advised to take time off work i wont because why should i loose money for some fools. CID are investigating and have taken statements from my self and colleague. Regards Lee..
