If anyone is thinking of going to Pets At Home in Bromborough today don't bother because it is closed. Lots of people, including myself, very disappointed it is not open. All other shops open.

Did nobody think to check the website or the shop door for opening times? smack

There's also a big click box on the home page for Christmas opening hours. Doh.

Sorry, it's not on the home page any more; you now have to go to the "Find a store" page first. Doh.

How can they be allowed to take off a bank holiday! It really used to piss me off when I worked in retail how everyone expected the shop to be open as usual over Xmas. Jesus aren't people allowed time off.

Can you not see the red box "click here to view our Christmas opening hours"? How much clearer can it be?

I was told by a member of staff to bring my daughter in on boxing day so she could choose her hamster, therefore had no reason to look on-line for opening times. As I said all other stores were open on the retail park.

All the other stores are not run by the same people as Pet's at Home.

It does my head in when people come in and quote the fantastic Marks and Spencer and say well they do it in "Marks and Spencer" as if we were meant to say "Oh sorry hang on love if they do it I will just change our policy and do it too"

Shops are not owned by the same person and they all have their own opening hours etc.
