Why would internet explorer struggle on gumtree site, it takes for ever to load gumtree site and when it does it takes forever to scroll down pages, and my cpu usage shoote up to 100%. It only does it on gumtree site, it does not do it on my other computer just this one.
Am using Vista 64bit 3gb ram Processor: Celeron Dual-Core CPU T300 @ 1.80GHz 1.79GHz

I have done virus checks, i have full version of malware bytes, that has just removed 12 trojans, what ever they are. I have reset i.e to default settings, and it is still doing it, it only does it on gumtree site. I should not have to change browser, (nore do i want to), its never done it before, and i am happy with i.e.

If you have had 12 Trojans then the damage may already be done. IE is so integrated with windows you can not just re-install it or uninstall it to make it right.
12 Malware Detected would not have been an issue. But 12 Trojans which allow access to your computer via the back door, personally i would recommend seriously to wipe and start over.
I would also seriously consider updating passwords after the re-install.
I know you have removed 12, but its what is running because of those Trojans? Key loggers. Harvesters or just pain resource hogger.
Malwarebytes may not show any other threats because anything malicious could have made any 3rd party programs trusted.
Yes you can chip away and get it back up to speed. But would you want too, not knowing what the Trojans objective was?
Good Luck

Well, if you found 12 Trojans god knows what else is on t I would suggest downloading AVG free and running a full scann to see what else can be found
Also, just try chrome or Firefox to see if you have the same issues. If you do you know that it is something to do with gumtree and your pc, rarther than just gumtree and I.e. It's worth it.

Pc's are a personal choice. It all depends what you want to do with it.
For £100 and you want a Desk Top then that would do you.
Bare in mind NO HARD DRIVE Which means no Operating System so the £100 is going up.
Just Reinstall is my advice.
Pc DeskTops are a Think of the past IMO
