Im a chef, yeah ok with experience etc but I have recently got a job and had 4 other offers too
There are jobs out there. In restaurants as front of house or either Kitchen porters.
People need to get out and not just sit online. take your cv around because they will remember someone more when they see you face to face than just a name on a screen. plus you can show your personality across which help in getting an interview.

my son went to hand out cv's a couple a weeks ago . and was told by a lot of the employers to apply online .

Places like supermarkets and big chains like John Lewis and debs ask to do online but alot take cvs.
there are jobs there.
