Reading Cancer Ward by Aleksandra Solzhenitsyn,takes a bit to get into but my Goodness well worth it.Extraordinarily magnificent portrayal of life(?) in Russia.
My God how awful it was to exist in that dreadful state and we complain about some folk getting excessive benefits.

I got five new library books to read! Gna play 'eenie miny mo' to decide what first....
Read Chat magazine, in the bath but i do prefer a meaty, multi layered book.

At the moment I am reading Denise Welch Biography, I have just finished Carol Mciffin's,a very interesting read.

Brilliant book. I read it when I was young. Just had a CT scan so best not read it again  His 'Gulag Archipelago' is well worth reading

Love all her books, all based in Victorian times.
