E-fit of man wanted in connection with attempted burglary DETECTIVES have released an e-fit of a man spotted trying to climb through the bathroom window of a house in Prenton.
The 51-year-old resident was in the kitchen of his house in Durley Drive on the morning of May 29 when he saw a man drop down from the roof into his garden yard.
When challenged the man claimed he had been looking for his football and walked off down Durley Drive towards Woodchurch Road.
The resident went home to call the police and noticed that his wheelie bin had been climbed on and an upstairs window opened.
Detectives are treating this incident as an attempted burglary and are appealing for anyone who knows anyone who resembles the man in the e-fit or saw anything suspicious in Durley Drive that day to contact them.
Detective Constable Andy Young from Birkenhead CID, said: "The suspect is believed to have climbed onto an extension roof at the back of the house and open the bathroom window to peer inside.
