Here is a postcard with a picture of Victoria Park from 1909 (postmark 8 Feb 1909). Interestingly, it puts the park in Higher Tranmere rather than Rock Ferry.

Agreed, not Rock Ferry. I used to walk through that park to get to Well Lane school.
