I'm writing this topic as i am going to appeal against my PCN.
Penalty Charge Notice.

(Stop laughing) thumbsdown

After doing a bit of reading before i prepared my appeal letter
i have come across some intresting information.

Relevant to the Wirral Only.
Decriminalised Parking Enforcement (DPE)

Useful Sites

National Parking Adjudication Service for England and Wales

I\'ve received a parking ticket - what shall i do next?

Know Your PCN

PCN Contravention Codes

Challenging the Removal of Your Vehicle

Challenging the Clamping of Your Vehicle

-----------------------------------------------

Also between the lines its saying that double yellow lines are there for saftey.

You should not park on a Double Yellow just because its convenient.
You should not park on a Double Yellow lines if you can cause obstruction or unsafe.

Also parking with in 10 meters of a Junction on Double yellows isnt going to help frown

-------------------------------------------
So i'm appealing,
So i was unloading.
Contrevention Code 01 "Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours"
So i'm not being accused of obstructing or unsave or pavement parking.

So unloading, this is an exemption to the Double yellows. (Max waiting time 20 mins)

Ticket records,
Spotted to Issued 6mins.

I was deliverying a heavy object, or somthing that would take many to and frows to the vehicle.

I also have to produce any witness statements towards my claim.

Watch out for pavement parking
Have a read of the links above, theres no excuses for pavement parking, be warned.

Will keep you posted on how mine pans out.
Hope this helps someone else.

Last word be polite to the Ticket attendant if you see them, they can also write notes,
against each ticket issued.

£60 Fine %50 Reduction if paid in 14 days. mad

I once got a letter through the post for a parking offence. I was at the place, but they didn't put the actual ticket on my car, so two weeks later i got a fine for like £80 frown

Well they decided to get me mad

I like the bit where it says Loading and Unloading Must be a continuous operation with indications of the loading taking place

True but in a time frame of 6 mins its a bit harsh.

But ive now paid it Online Click Me

mad mad mad

I decide to pay as the next appeal process
removes the 14 day discount.
So if i didnt win that then £60 i would have to pay.

They have a shot gun to our heads.
